Altered Handbag Clipboard & Matching Accessories

Here is another altered clipboard, but this time I made matching altered binder clips, a matching holder for the clips to hang on your bulletin board or refrigerator, and a matching pen (black ink)!  I had so much fun making these items and especially like the "handbag" patterned scrapbook paper that I used from the "Paperdolls" collection!  Isn't it amazing the altered crafts you can make with mod podge, scrapbook paper, and creativity?  Love, Love, Love IT!!!

Here is another list the I designed for the upcoming binder that I've created.  I have created a few different sizes and matching bookmarks!  I have been trying to finish up some training for work and my Bachelor's degree ... almost there with fingers crossed, before I upload the photos of the busymebinders I created.  I can't wait, they really are lovely!  I've been using one for my work papers and calendar and I get so many comments!  I also use my Erin Condren (love, love, love) calendar and organizer in conjuction and they look great together!  :)  Have a wonderful weekend and Memorial Day!!!!  Keep watching for those picture uploads!

Update on the Handmade Binder ~ Organization is Coming Along Splendidly

So, I finally received my new laminator in the mail last night, and the only thing in my way was my Weight Watchers meeting (Lifetime Member -- YAY!) .... do I go, or do I stay?  My flab says go, my heart says stay and get to laminating!  In the end Weight Watchers Meeting won, but I promptly returned home and got to work on the binder design!  After a few test runs, I fell passionately in love with a machine!  It is perfect for laminating the quality scrapbook paper I use, and my only issue was deciding on how many pages per binder??  The good thing is that I can add or take away the dividers anytime I like -- I designed it that way using binder rings!  Has anyone else been working on a crafty creation??  If so, please post a picture here on my blog!  (I will be posting a pic. of my new creation soon!).

Update on the Handmade Binder Design

It's coming along a little slow, but I spent some time today individually cutting the paper for my first 4 handmade binders.  I also made a pocket by using 2 8.5x11 Cardstock Papers -- I wasn't sure how I was going to accomplish this so I took a break and thought about it for a while and came up with the perfect idea ... and if I do say so myself, it looks like it came straight from an office supply store!  I can't wait to get my first binder done!  I invested in a new laminator so I'm hoping that will show up soon so I can get going faster!  Stay Tuned!

Design Documentation for Binder == To Do Lists in Different Colors

I spent hours designing this really cool To Do List that will be an accessory for the handmade binders I'm getting ready to put together!  I made 4 different colors, but I think my fav is the brown and teal so I've uploaded it here for my friends/followers to take a pick.  I have added all 4 to my new BusyMe Bindery Etsy Shop!  I am so addicted to Etsy and the absolutely creative products on there!

Handmade Altered Clipboard -- Travel Theme

I used some great scrapbook paper and a good solid clipboard along with some Mod Podge, Sealer and Creativity to create this one of a kind Travel Clipboard embellished with ribbons.  I also designed and crafted the back of the board so there is no "plain jane" here!  I love how this turned out -- in actuality, the colors are much more vivid than the picture -- I seriously either need to get better light in my home, or better photography skills!  LOL!  Have a Crafty Day!!

Recent Handmade Crafts ~ View More on Etsy

The 2 pictures above show you a project I've been working on ... altered binder clips and a matching holder that you can hang on your bulletin board or a peg (or anywhere your busyme heart desires) and when the clips aren't in use, you won't have to worry about losing them -- just place them back on the hanging holder.
I used coordinating scrapbook paper, chipboard coaster, ribbon, mod podge, sealer, and a corner rounder on these great lil gifts ~ especially for teachers since school is almost out.  You can see more of these at my Etsy Shop .. KTOrganizationPro (link on sidebar).

Handmade Crafts -- The Beginning

I have so much going on in my life that I feel like there is no time for me and when this happens, it's easy to let myselff go ... as in who I was before I became someone else's everything.  It's important for everyone to stop and reflect on what's important and what we as human beings love, and my true love is paper and making unique handmade crafts.  I hid my love of paper for a long time because isn't that an odd LUV?  Well, apparently it's not according to many blogs and posts I've been reading -- so I'm finally declaring to the world that I LUV PAPER!  I also LUV being organized so I have started creating the "perfect" organizational binder -- and I don't mean one of those boring white 3-ring binders ... I mean the handmade kind with beautiful embossed pages with perfectly cut scrapbook paper and embellisments all sealed to withstand this BusyMe Life I live and love.  There will be pockets, tags and place holders as well!  This is going to be the binder of all binders and I'll be sharing the journey with you ... stay tuned for pictures.  If I can get at least 25 followers by the time my first BusyMe Binder is complete, I'll be giving one away to one of my lucky followers.
